Sindhi Cultural Association of Toronto (S.C.A.T.)
Aims & Objectives
To promote, educate and preserve Sindhi culture, traditions and customs in the framework of Indian – Canadian culture.
To promote Sindhi language.
To provide a forum of expression and participation for seniors, youth, and women especially.
To volunteer assistance to needy community members in matters of education, law, social service, financial planning, credit counseling, case of child-abuse and wife battering, etc.
To welcome and extend support to community’s new immigrants during the initial period of settlement.
To promote friendship and cultural exchange with other associations and organizations of national and/or international stature.
To solicit funds, raise donations to achieve the above purposes.
